On your old site it mentioned there was an imprint in the snow which showed car damage. On missing money in Michigan there are 2 reports for Xxxxx Xxxxx for unclaimed money, it says both are from accident funds and Livonia is on the info listed. It just may mean the insurance co. is in Livonia, I don't know but that too could be worth taking a look at by someone who can dig. Mel

Helen, does Mr. King still think Busch killed Tim? I am confused,as his daughter said on Topix that she thinks McKinney did. Rog Note: I haven't a clue, but maybe if you go over to Topix and post that question you may get an answer-Good Luck

I think it is simply awesome. Sorry, I watched it the other day, and didn't get a chance to write you back, I've been so busy with this project I'm involved in. The video seriously gave me goosebumps all over, when I heard the voice of Mark's Mom, and heard all the real news reports. Suddenly, I'm 10 years old again, standing paralyzed watching the news of them finding other kids' bodies all around me. That feeling of fear all comes rushing back. Seeing those old original ABC cassette tapes from just down the road are really wild. This is the best piece of reporting on this case I have seen! I think You Tube is a brilliant way to go, too. It will have alot more viewers nationwide, who don't go looking for forums on the subject. Hope the video go viral. Cant wait for the next 11!

Helen; Here is a government office that will help with FOIA requests that were treated unfairly. www.archives.gov/ogis/It appears that the cases they deal with are federal but maybe they would still take on a state level like your and Keeper's cases. I see they deal with some cases where ridiculous amounts of money were charged for FOIA requests. It's not going to solve anything but could be a way to document Michigan's ways to the public. At least a way to make a statement in a constructive way. . It's worth a call anyway as they may refer you to someone that does state level claims. I had a claim with them once and it didn't get my information that I requested but they were still very helpful as mediators. For your case they would probably find out why Michigan needs such a cost FOIA Requester Xxxx Xxxx

I also haven't had a chance to call the property appraiser yet. Mondays really suck for me and this one is a little worse because I have extra stuff on my plate. WHY DON'T THE MICHIGAN COPS-OWN UP!I read your original story-that part you talked about, where the reporter from the Detroit Free Press, who had worked covering these storys, said that the Cops told him, all the information John gave you-was either not true or was available in the news media, but the reporter himself, who had access to every news story ever printed, could not find the things you talked about.,Helen,I want you to know,I also have access to the same information and neither could I-see what happen here-the Cops lied, they must think that we are all stupid, If there had been nothing there,in the information you gave them about John, they would never of come up to Alpena, much less gave him polygraphs,15 years after the murders and then keep on calling you for another 15 years-when they couldn't get the legal proof they needed, they decide to bad mouth you, instead of fessing up to the fact, that they didn't have the ability to solve the OCCK,because they had been on the wrong track, for so long, that when they got the information from you about John, they couldn't match it,as they had been so far off base, and fouled up these cases so much, that their incompetence, would be all that would surface. This is a great post that was written by Cathy and posted at Topix this week-I would like to add some info to it-I'm not going to tell you everything I know about this as we will be having this info in one of the 11 Videos we plan to post on YouTube- here is Cathy's post- Excellent work on youtube video Part 2.
The motorist who radioed the location of Jill's body may never have been found, but a man did come forward to tell police that he saw a car pulled over on I-75 around 3:30 a.m., near where Jill's body was found. He said that the expressway was empty (3:30 a.m. on 12/26/76), and that as he neared the pulled- over car, it moved forward along the shoulder of the road. This man said the car was a Pontiac LeMans. He had owned a LeMans and that is why he was sure about the make and model of the car. The guy, being a guy, knew the year of the car. I do not have that information, but was told by a reliable source that it was either a 1971 or 1972 LeMans. This man said that not only were there primer spots on the left side of the car, but the left taillight was out.
It was not until September 7, 1978, that the MSP issued a press release stating that "a light blue 1967 Pontiac Tempest with primer spots was seen on the left side of the shoulder of I-75 at 3:30 a.m. near where Jill Robinson was found hours later."
When did this man who recognized the car as a LeMans come forward? Was it before or after the 9/7/78 press release? Why was no information given about the damage to the rear end of this car? Why was the car described as a Pontiac Tempest? If this man came forward after the press release, why was no information given to the public about the Pontiac LeMans and the rear end damage?
When information was developed by a U of M engineer and General Motors about the bumper impression left in the snowbanks right where Kristine Mihelich was found about a month later, why was this never made public? At that point, police also knew there was a trailer hitch on the vehicle (determined to be a Pontiac LeMans) and that the hitch had been damaged and pulled over to the left. That is pretty specific information. Why was this information never made public?
Isn't it obvious that we are justified in having little faith in the investigation of these crimes back in the day?)Cathy *Helens Note:-The cops do know who that car belong to-He is alive-The Info surfaced during an interview I was doing in 2003-However,How do they prove it? Yes,they have reliable testimony ,but I understand to get copies of the registration from the 70s is next to Impossible

Helen, why do you keeping wanting them to re-investigate John. Jerry--Note: Well obviously, they are not asking him the right questions because he is still walking a round- He has been interviewed 6 times that I know of- and I can look at all of my proof-box and box after boxes, makes me wonder if they even checked out any of the stuff that I sent them, well I probably should'nt say that, because they must have or they wouldn't still be interviewing him, each time they tell me...well there are some holes in Johns story..Oh please! I know the pass port that he showed up with at the 1991 polygraph, is a real sticker with them...however John had two pass ports...and they need to remember -that he didn't show up for the 1978 interview with a pass port-so is this not a red flag? So how do we know, that this last interview -when they flew down to Atlanta...was any more stable than the first five?
