www.examiner.com/article/jury-has-reached-verdict-to-be-announced-at-4-00 Why are we waiting? Why does the judge have to make everyone wait? Does he have any idea how many lives are affected by the endless and constant waiting? Hasn’t Jeff already been waiting for 14 months? We were told that the extra time was to “give all the interested parties time to arrive.” My guess is that these interested parties are more television camera crews. What’s really strange is that at 9:00 this morning, it was announced that the jury had submitted a question. Media members and family rushed to the courtroom to hear what the question might be, only to find that they couldn’t get into the courtroom because it was already full of people dealing with other cases. At that time, one of the judge’s staff came out into the hallway and told the parties waiting for the Pyne verdict that the judge was not going to answer the jury’s question until noon. Everyone found the three-hour wait strange because Judge Bowman previously told both attorneys that he wants them to stick close by, as he didn’t want the jury to have to wait for an hour if they had a question. Most people think the jury members probably had reached a verdict at 9:00 and were sent home first thing this morning. The jury deliberated for a half day Friday and a full day yesterday. I will post the verdict as soon as humanly possible. Prayers please!!
