Matt, you can do the math- ...According to Michigan State Police records, the match is the first physical DNA evidence in the case. A mitochondrial DNA sequence, however, is not a perfect match, and the sample is 34 years old. The results of the testing were made known to investigators in March 2009.
In an interview with The Detroit News last month, Gunnels insisted he was a victim of Busch and that he has "no idea" how his DNA could have wound up on Kristine's body.
As the story notes, mitochondrial DNA is not a perfect match, and records indicate Gunnels has submitted to a polygraph two times, neither of which resulted in any charges.

Helen,This is bothering me,I read all the passport stuff on John and what his family had to say about it,I also read Busch's and I see where John changed his passport info to read like Busch's,do you know did Busch's pass port show up after his death? I'm just wondering if John could have been using Chris's ,because John changed his information? Tim

I have been following your posting of the FOIA papers from John's Interview with Studt and you can just see were he covers up everything, like the nylons he said he bought them from a mail order company and had planed to give them to the mother of his child a few at a time on special occasions, wasn't it the mother of his child that thought he could be the Nylon Stocking Rapist? What did he plan on doing with the pull over stocking ski mask? Your right Helen,he is a real wacky guy. Don

Helen, How come some of the video numbers haven't changed in days? Jack-Note-Only you would notice this Jack!-I'm sorry to report that the problem is a very well known one, sadly still with no current solution. :-( In fact (it may surprise you to learn!!), this behavior is by design... Many people are coming up with various theories about what might be happening, but in truth, based on what YouTube has actually said, no one really knows. "View Count" may or may not represent the number of views your video has had, the number of unique viewers its had ("ViewER Count"?) or some hybrid combination of both, but since none of that has ever been defined at all, it's all just guesswork and presently View Count is respectively ambiguous/meaningless. Bottom line, don't expect View Count to work as you might expect (one view adds one to the View Count) once it's got to more than about 300 views - after that it's anyone's guess what View Count is showing (or not!). Moreover after the c300 mark, any "views" that do not conform with YouTube's unstated definition as to what constitutes a "view" will no longer be counted (i.e. they are permanently lost). There's some speculation as to whether repeat views are ever counted, so if your video is short, interesting and/or popular, your video may be prejudiced accordingly (but again this has not been explicitly stated by YouTube). Right now, there doesn't appear to be anything you can do about this, except complain. So you did your part Jack This is what happen in our case- I mailed all the Oakland County Officials -by email-all 17 videos-I got done at 5/30am-well when the people came into work at the different departments-they all clicked on to the video email and all viewed all 17 of them-so the site got hit like a dialer would do-then with in a few hours other people from the same offices clicked on-with the same IP address-so it sent a red flag to the computer brain-and now it has to straighten it all out-I'm telling you -it has never been easy to promote the Occk cases-lol

Helen, are you upset with the YouTube freezing those video views? Robert-Note-No not really -You do know Google owns YouTube right? So how could I be upset? Google has been very good to me for the past 20 years-they pick up every post I make and always have and I learned a lot in the last couple of days-and that always has a value to me....I didn't realize that almost all videos at YouTube never hit 300 views and we have 15 of them that are way beyond that number-once you get over 300 views-it puts you in a whole new Ball Game-They watch every thing you do-But anyway in this case where I sent out the Videos by email-those 432 views they took off this last one-did not even matter to me as I reached the people -who could not log on from work-because YouTube is blocked like all the other social net work sites from their work PC-see they had the opportunity to view them with out connecting to YouTube and my point was for them to read and hear what I had to say-So mission accomplished-Win-Win-I know they watch everything because in the 16 video-we had the Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds-Which could have been a copy right Infringement-However they just held it up long enough for them to get copyright permission-so you see they do a lot more for you, then just let you run your videos for free...it is all good!

Helen, In the FOIA Documents-Studts Interview with John, when I read where John said his passport was all wrinkled, my first thought was, sure he wrinkled it all up because it was that fake new one he got and he wanted it to look used. Cal- Note-Thanks for thinking out of the box!

Helen, Did Don Studt write the book ,Angel In The Snow,by Patricia Welles? Ann-Note-Your not the first person to think so-and I myself think he may have-In the credits he says -"I would like to thank the Birmingham Police Department,Birmingham,Michigan for the help they gave me in the writing of this novel-both in the opinions and the fantasy offered"...yada yada yada--and we all know the BPD has never helped anyone when it comes to Info on the Occk--But what we do now know is that Studt was big on opinions and offering fantasy...

Helen if you ever get the high res picture from someone, I would suggest you make a big a$$ poster of it for the juries to hang in their room where they are discussing this stuff. Scott

I'm sorry if you got the wrong Idea...but I'm not going to run any Negative posts about Don Studt -from people I don't know-and that is only out of respect for the comfort he provided for the King Family during Tims Abduction and murder and when he lived with them during all this---Just because I have put him on the A-H list-it does not mean you have to-
