The police developed a suspect, who worked for NASA, but in the end, the case went nowhere. Miller did not get the resolution for which he hoped. But his ordeal did evolve into an unforeseen benefit to himself and many others.-Tim Miller, whose sixteen-year-old daughter, Laura, was found dead in the killing fields, was so convinced of Abel’s guilt that he left threatening messages on his answering machine, demanding that he confess. “There are many days when I think about driving over there, putting a gun to his head, and pulling the trigger,” Miller says. “When I’m near him, I feel like I’m in the presence of evil.” Yet there are problems with the allegations against Abel: Not a shred of physical evidence has ever been found linking him to the four women found dumped in the oil field, no evidence has been uncovered by any police department that can connect him to the murders they have been investigating, and no witness can place him with any of the teenagers or women before they were found dead. What’s more, he has never been arrested for any crime, nor is there any known record of a criminal complaint filed against him. “My life has been destroyed, my reputation ruined,” Abel told Miller when he first met him earlier that year. “I didn’t kill any of those girls. I wouldn’t know how to kill.” You should look this story up on line-and you will see how Miller first blamed the cops-his life turned to devastation and the Abel's life ended....

Helen, the first post on this thread,Mr King states that three former prosecutors -" I have documentation that shows three prosecutors, Kym Worthy (of Wayne County), David Gorcyca and Richard Thompson (both former Oakland County prosecutors) all say it was highly likely he (Busch) was involved.King goes on to say "I've got a fourth that doesn't think so, and she won't talk to me." Well Helen,I know the papers King received were older than this 2008 quote from Prosecutor David Gorcyca- However he makes it very clear in this news clip what he believes,so maybe King didn't interpret it right..."“Typically, criminal behavior graduates, it doesn’t de-escalate,” Gorcyca said. “It doesn’t go from child abduction to criminal sexual conduct to homicide and then revert back to negotiated sex.”) (" Really need to move past Cass Corridor....'But the link doesn't make sense to Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca, who said Worthy's assertion that Lamborgine is the strongest lead in some time may be exaggerated. "I just don't think this suspect matches the profile of the Oakland County child killer," Gorcyca said in a live interview -But Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca said Lamborgine’s alleged pattern of negotiated sex with juveniles does not match the profile of the Oakland County Child Killer. “Typically, criminal behavior graduates, it doesn’t de-escalate,” Gorcyca said. “It doesn’t go from child abduction to criminal sexual conduct to homicide and then revert back to negotiated sex.” Lamborgine also does not have any known connections to the Oakland County area, Gorcyca said.)

Gray said he and others working the case are optimistic that it will be solved. Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca agrees. "It's tough to commit the perfect crime," Gorcyca said. "We'd all love to stamp closed on this case file. Everyone wants to see justice done. This is one of the greatest whodunits in Oakland County."
