Thank You So Much For The Congratulations and Best Wishes On my 71st Birthday Yesterday ,they were appreciated and really made my day special !!! I know everyone of you are busy with your lives,so I can not even Imagine how you would remember. At first when the Emails started to arrive-I thought...Hey maybe this is my last Birthday?? Especially when I received so many from Forum Owners and Administrators,some of you,I haven't contacted in 15years...But I did keep up with all of your Police and Crime News,in fact I used quite a bit of your posts on my forums.One of the nice surprises,was to hear from so many of the Police Officers,Prosecutors,court clerks, and Judges across the United States who I have worked with for the passed 20years ( Boy you are a forgiving bunch)lol~ I also appreciated all the books that were sent-I never knew ...that my site,could claim so many Authors- I will read them all!!! I didn't know if I would share this with you-But since most of you know my kids-and how proud of them ,I am,because they are such good decent human beings,I thought you would enjoy this--My Daughter called me on her way home from work and wanted to know if I had seen what my son Woody had posted on Facebook-I laugh and said no & I'm not signed on as a friend,so I can not go there and read. So she said when I get To Joeys Hockey Game-I will call you and read it to you...So she calls me and starts to read it and she starts crying every other word,I thought this must really be something special -So she said she would email Woody and ask him or tell him he should send it to me. Well I guess a lot of his friends also posted on his board,that he needed to send that to me...and he finally did...and yes it was very special!! Here It Is***

Happy 71st birthday to my mom. I know there are a few mixed feelings out there,.. still, about my mom. However, she is a huge part of the reason I am who I am today, and I thank her for that. My mom would constantly say three things as far back as I remember. 1. Each new day, is a new beginning, to a wise man. 2. Your reward will come in Heaven, and 3. There is always someone out there that has it worse off than you do. She also taught me that its possible to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner on the top of a kerosene heater, when you don't have any other way to do it. She taught me to survive, and to be grateful. My mom always supported me and supported my ideas and decisions, and was always my number one fan. Thanks to my mom, there has not been one single day in my entire life that I didn't feel loved.
