You kind of watch things like this with one eye open, and are very skeptical. Yes, it can be a media frenzy, but , if it draws attention nationally to the case, then it's a good thing. Really interesting that Spitz gave an interview. It would be nice if the families were able to hear his full interview. You know they only will show bits and pieces of it on the show. He probably heard a lot of discussions and theories and names behind closed doors. Hard to believe he's never given any interviews since then. I am very excited about this -no matter what is said-it will reach a lot of people-We should also hear from Det. Anger and others-So this is a good thing!!!

Maybe you could all send your friends and family members an email about the show and tell them-they will most likely see-Mike Stebbins, Kris' sister- Chris, Mr. King and Cathy. Also Don Studt, Anger and Dr. Spitz. . They were in the Bham area for maybe two days-So they may even see more people..**.Investigation Discovery ***** THE BABYSITTER KILLER Wednesday, February 8th, 10pm

These are the remarks posted already a head of the show-# Hugh Evan Auslander · Canarsie High School Thank You again Mr. Phelps for bringing attention to this case. Though the families all found it tough to see the re-enactments, it is needed to show how horrific this menace really is. After 5 years now, with nothing for our closures, this is what's needed to hasten the pace to finally catch this monster..... Reply · 1 · Like · about an hour ago
Add a Reply... Note-This statement by Patrick Coffey-This is not true~The two Grand Juries are meeting to go over cold case Homicides -They have no Information that points to any one Suspect In the Oakland County Child Murders as of this date~ Patrick T. Coffey · San Bruno, California I think that no matter what is stated or concluded in this show, it can only be part one. There are two grand juries convened right now in both Wayne County (Detroit Proper) and Oakland County (The suburbs) as to whether to indict on evidence they are reviewing about a person or persons in these cases.

* Tom Ascroft · Lawrence Technological University I have to agree with Patrick Coffey. The only trouble with all of the stories that are coming out do not disclose all the manipulation of information by the Michigan State police. They also fail to display all the things the families have gone thru in the discovery of the evidence which gets "lost" and then "discovered". There can no be a conclusion to this story until the Michigan State Police and a few other involved persons are investigated by a third party. I fear that the Grand Juries have not gotten the real story that is here. Sad but this story will end only when someone takes on the authorities (This pertains to "The Babysitter Killer") Reply · Like · 9 hours ago

Dawn Ferreira Maybe the reason the killer faces the girls east is because that is the direction he lives. Maybe the killer wants them to watch over him like he does to them. He wants to know that he is not alone. Reply · Like · Wednesday at 7:27pm

Just finish the show-and thought it was put together very well--But I was sad to see that the Kings really believe what they are saying-and nothing could be further from the truth...

Helen, what did you think of all the red coloring on the ropes? Ken--I sat there wondering if they used spray paint-food coloring or other? as there was no blood on the ropes in Busch's room-that is why they were not kept...

1 Many times I have stated that I knew Chris Busch was shot between the eyes but have been unable to tell you how I know. If you watched Dark Minds tonight, Erica, Kristine's sister confirmed it. Busch no more committed suicide than OJ was innocent.

1 What the hell were they protecting Lamborgine for? He is a convicted rapist doing time and yes he was questioned in these killings. All of that is fact. They covered his face and his name for legal reasons, really? Maybe they didn't want his house-mates to know what he is. Maybe someone should let them know - the bast**d.
With all the speculation perhaps they might have speculated that little Jill was held long enough that her fear of being shot was something the killer(s) found out about her. And maybe that is why the difference in the MO.
Busch had the capacity for remorse? Yeah and no way Busch killed himself. He was murdered but why and by whom, Gunnels? I don't think Gunnels is a killer or would have killed Busch. But Gunnels was connected to Busch and he said he remembered the Cass so maybe it is a vicious circle. At least it was put on national TV and that is a blessing.

No kidding - that Lamborgine blur was ridiculous. And so were the clowns. In fact, I could do without all the drama and just take the information. I don't believe Gunnels would have been smart enough or brave enough to killed Busch either.

I just wrote on M. William Phelps Facebook wall that he should have interviewed YOU. M. William Phelps Watch "The Babysitter Killer" episode on DARK MINDS tonight ... this case nearly broke me. It was one of the darkest, most evil serial murder cases I've EVER investigated. investigation.discovery.com/tv/dark-minds/Dark Minds : Investigation Discovery investigation.discovery.com Dark Minds LikeUnlike · · Share · 17 hours ago · * * 10 people like this. * * o 2 shares2 shares o Tammy Markobrad Im excited!! 6 hours ago · LikeUnlike o Greg English Great episode, M. William! However, you shoud have interviewed Helen Dagner of Petoske, Mi who knows who the killer really is. The killer lived two blocks from Christopher Busch, was abused as a child by his father and wanted to get back at the snobby community (his motive). A killing for each of his siblings. He also had sole acces to the rental house next door to where he lived. 4 minutes ago · LikeUnlike *

Just finish the show-and thought it was put together very well--But I was sad to see that the Kings really believe what they are saying-and nothing could be further from the truth...So Sad - 3 Viewing Helen,
I thought is was a very good show. In fact, this is the best episode yet I've seen on the OCCK except for the fact they did not interview you. There were a few inaccuricies , as well. Tim was abducted at Hunter and Maple, not Woodward and Maple. There were a couple of others, as well.
Of course, the Busch angle is mostly incorrect. They kind of left you hanging with the DNA and the failure to mention James Gunnels at the end.
Interestingly, convict #13 and John Kelly, the profiler believed that the killer was abused as a child (just like you told me about John). They also think there was a helper with the killer. Maybe. Maybe not. We know John had a house all to himself on Tuckaway.
Also, weren't the boys abused post-mortem? They didn't mention this point. That means a lot to profiling the killer.
A key to all of this is "who did the drawing"? Was the slob, Busch an artist? Was Gunnells an artist?
What did you think of the episode?
Greg
NOTE GREG-I thought the show was great-To answer your other question-I did not need or want to be interviewed-you know how I feel about that-and besides-Cathy herself told me -that her and her brother told them all about John...

Helen, I gave these people and two other authors who have interviewed me everything I had on your buddy John Hastings. Face it, this man was not involved in these crimes alone, no way, no how. People are independently investigating this man. If he was involved, WHICH HE MAY WELL BE, he is not the sole participant. I don't want your sympathy--I have passed on everything I know about John Hastings to numerous investigators and authors. This information may prove fruitful. But don't you dare offer your sympathy over what my family and I have found out about other suspects and the investigation of this case. Quit savaging anyone who tries to get close to the truth of this thing. I can't force anyone to accept your man as the one and only killer and you certainly can't either. The evidence will lead where it leads. I don't give a f**k who it leads to, but don't you dare savage anyone trying to get to the bottom of this. You have no claim to the truth. Like John Hastings would tell anyone the 100% truth?! Who are all of you people who think you have a claim the truth and to any say of how this all goes down?! Offer up what you know, and back off. Just like the rest of us have. I, as the sibling of a victim, have to sit back and wait to see what these news shows and programs say about my brother's murder and you HAVE TO, TOO. There is nothing special about you. However many years you think you have into this thing, I have more. My connection isn't some not a very nice person who sat across from me at a restaurant and told me he was an animal. My connection is that I gave 30 cents to someone who I never saw alive again. Who I saw six days later dead and with a huge bruise on his forehead and his chest stuffed full of newspapers, or whatever it is they use to stuff someone with after an autopsy.
And forget all the other hangers-on in this case who think they know something about these cases. Sick of your b.s. We know what you know, given what you've posted here. Going nowhere. The best news: it's obvious this case is a total clusterf*ck and that something just like it could happen again in a place like Oakland County. All of you who want to "win" on this and be "right"--rot in Hell. Winning isn't an option here. Everyone has already lost.
