Helen,
I just read your message board. Why would the photos of Busch’s room suddenly be made available to the public via TV? What do you think the motive is behind this?
Also, the picture of the boy screaming (Mark Stebbins). Isn’t there a way forensics (handwriting experts) can determine whether or not John drew that picture or even Busch drew that picture??? If John drew that picture it ties him with Busch and LE can go from there.

Helen,
Ask the cops about forensics/handwriting analysis with the picture on the wall. Mark

That’s disappointing. That piece of evidence is crucial, IMO. It’s the one item that can connect Busch with John. There have to be other drawings of John’s that they can compare it to. Did Busch draw? I don’t think so. He doesn’t appear to be the “artsy” type to me. Did anyone related to the Busch family recall how long the picture was hanging there, if at all? The Busch brother out east? The Maid? Geo

Helen, I wouldn’t even know where to begin, with that Les at Topix.lol
Is he trying to prove he was once a good guy, but too many bad circumstances caused him to no longer give a nuts? And maybe I’m missing something, but you generally don’t see a lot of blacks at the biker bars….guess there are black bikers, but I honestly can’t remember ever seeing one.
The more “feedback” this guy gets online the more stimulated he becomes, he likes the banter and thinks he knows more…..than even Cathy or her brother, lol. Ben

Helen,When you get a chance, examine the photos again that have parts blacked out. Notice the position of the rifle. It looks like his right hand is still holding the barrel. No way would that be possible if he shot himself at close range in the head! Sgt.

Helen, Wow. That's a shame that LE has not be forthcoming with Cathy. The photo in question appears in Photo 23 of 28 in the slide show. Now, I showed it to my wife and she is not so sure its a hand (could be a blood stain or something else). In Photo 3, it appears the right hand is besides the rifle. Still, to me, the positioning fo the rifle seems odd. Perhaps, I am watching too many forensic shows on TV. I also noticed a liquor bottle on the kitchen counter, a blue book in his stack of many books ..."something Flag" and a box of .22 bullets on his desk. Jack

Helen,About that-J Reuben Appleman. He has re-energized after promoting his other book (which is very draining) and just a few days ago emailed me that he is back at it. He also had a movie released that he has to tend too Max

Try to give Cathy lots of leeway because I can’t imagine being in her shoes. But yeah, it would be nice if she would share some of the details! Bob

I do believe that Busch was a bad dude that I wouldn’t want near any kid much less one I knew and loved, but I never thought he was our killer either.

Helen, The link for Google news? Type “Sharon Smentowski” (?) into googles search engine and the articles should show up. She was murdered in July of 1959, the murder wouldn’t have anything to do with Les or the brother in law, but it could explain why Gary was so messed up. Tim

Helen, I would first try to get high resolutions scans that bare much more resolution then shown. There is a piece of art work on the wall that looks like ships and resembles somewhat the artwork from McKinney's gallery that was auctioned. Mel

Helen, I think Les from Topix is as dumb as a rock--And he keeps pushing the dog that is buried and now his last deal was he put a note in with him back in the mid 70s--well how come he didn't get on the inter net with his tall tail of the Occk-until after the Yahoo group came out?? where was he for that 20 years-or did it take him that long to make up his story??
