Someone needs to start looking at the facts In the Oakland County Child Killer Cases, so I thought I would get this started. Well Helen a few of us were in total shock the day you showed us someone that matched the composite sketch of John McKinney's dinner companion. Excluding the hair, you couldn't find a better match if you tried. If I recall correctly it was about a 95% match with face characteristics. Did everyone forget that? Pictures don't lie and this coincidence added to the many others has to make one wonder. And of course this mystery woman is connected to both Johns. Furthermore another person associated with John matches the 2nd OCCK composite sketch quite well use to work at John McKinney's gallery or so his resume shows. So there is another connection to both Johns. What I didn't know was that the Birmingham Fire Department was very close to McKinney's gallery. Is that true? I swear to god that someone has to open their eyes but how many years and how many wild goose chases will it take? I think John McKinney was connected so they are getting warmer but not in the way that they think. If John was nothing but a bullnuts artist he sure has lots of coincidences that shadow him.

Helen, couple of interesting things as I know your Topix friends read here, and they call doing an investigation, reading old news papers, infact that is all their posts consist of.That old newspaper stuff didn't solve the case for that last 34 years so lets see what they can do with this.I know you never heard of John before 1991,so I found this very interesting.
One is from The Detroit News, Tuesday, May 31, 1977, article by Michael F. Wendland, News Staff Writer. The headline reads: "Killer Still at Large: Fear Stalks Children." On the continuation page (6A), the article states:
"Children are not the only victims.
A man named John, who asked that his last name not be used, has his comfortable home in Bloomfield Township for sale.
'Somebody turned me in,' he said, deeply embarrassed. 'One day, I'm out cutting my lawn and two cops come up. They start questioning me. I couldn't believe it. I was actually a suspect. All they'd say was that they had a tip. From one of my neighbors, I guess. Ever since then it's like I really was the killer. Nobody will look at me. My neighbors call their kids in whenever I'm outside.'
Recently divorced and living alone, John has no idea who reported him, or why." [article goes on to mention other people who were questioned]
