www.freep.com/article/20121018/NEWS05/310180286/Federal-suit-filed-in-Royal-Oak-killing A second lawsuit has been filed by the family of a murdered Royal Oak woman against the Michigan Department of Corrections over its supervision of two parolees accused of the slaying.

The first lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Oakland County Circuit Court and the second Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
